ROMULO BARRAL’S SEMINAR FULL REVIEW

Multiple World Champion Romulo Barral did not fail to disappoint over hundred students from around the UK when he held his seminar at the weekend in GB Birmingham. The day was an overwhelming success with everyone enjoying the championship winning ‘spider and open guard’ trade mark techniques of Romulo.

Barral taught a sequence of attacks from the spider guard with lots of variations which lead to an overhead sweep; omoplata; straight arm bar; triangle and a further sweep. With attention to the finer detail Romulo demonstrated how easy the open guard can be part of your arsenal in bjj..

The end of the seminar closed with guard passing from the Spider guard.

Braulio concluded the day by thanking all for attending and supporting the day and wrapped up by personally thanking Romulo, his good friend and training partner for visiting the UK. Romulo returned the gratitude with a short speach to the day’s visitors.
